Probably 35-40% of my kills were made on private land with the balance of them on crowded public land. IMHO, killing a good bird on crowded public land is a more satisfying achievement since they generally seem more wary.

25 years Private 25%, Public 75% Over all a surprising number of birds.
We wait all year,why not enjoy the longbeard coming in hunting for a hen, let 'em' in close !!!

Every bird I've ever killed has been on private land. Very lucky to have that opportunity
