What can I expect in this area, hybrids?

They are hybrids.  Seem to get a little more eastern looking every year though. They gobble like a Merriam but the fan tips are a shade lighter than an Eastern for the most part. Every now and then you will see one with pretty light tips like the one in my avatar.
