As the end of the spring turkey season distances itself, I find myself beginning to think about the August 1st opening of the Southern Illinois tree squirrel season and the need to head to the rifle range with my CZ .22s and .17 Mach 2s. I'll begin to think about turkeys again when the fall bow season opens in conjunction with the deer season.
