Browning BPS Trigger Question
April 12, 2011, 04:18:25 PM
Just bought a Browning BPS 20Ga. The trigger pull is 6.5 lbs. Way too much. Is there an adjustment screw like there is on the A-bolt rifles? Called Browning tech dept. but got two different answers, one said yes, one said no. They recommended taking to gunsmith. I am pretty handy, no gunsmith, but can turn an adjustment screw. HaHa. Any help appreciated. Thanks,
Ranman

I have not looked at one of them. I have the clay guns and you will file them some to help. The spring is one that is hard to cut. It has round rings on the end. I would try to find one at part store that is softer. Now we just run file across a time are two and that will help big time. Just file and try it then go more if need be.
Tell us just how dead do you want them to be and we will see if we can get that for you.
