The longer I hunt it seems the more that I buy custom calls and smaller companies for my collection and use.  Sure I will occasionally buy something off the chain gang if it catches my eye ( I mean lets face it, you can never have too many calls and life is short!)  ;D

What is the most expensive call that you own in your collection and what is the least expensive? Not asking for dollar amounts and value could be determined by sentimentality.

Currently I only buy what I am going to hunt with so mine is probably an SS Boat paddle and the least expensive..well there are several of those but one that I was most happy with of recent is a Lynch Longbeard box for next to nothing.

HIGH END : Cody "SPEC I" Legend

most expensive: Lonzo Acrylic

least expensive: Primos power crystal

Codeman

High platz
Low primos aluminum

High: 1985 DD Adams super slate and no it doesn't get hunted. Low: most likely a scratch box of some sort.

Value??

2008 Farmer Ironwood trumpet

1982 Neil Cost Old Hen box personalized to me.

Sentimental??

2004 Steve Mann paddle call that has gone on EVERY hunt I have made since I got it.

2003 Buice Osage trumpet that belonged to the man who taught me to kill turkeys.

I haven't bought a production call in over 20 years or more.

ol bob

High- Billy Buice Dial Tone I have 2, Whitt prototype and very early carved box  Low one of my early calls

Most Expensive - Doug Morgan Turpin Box (He personalized/gave this box to my son in honor of his first buck this past deer season. The box was a gift but it's priceless and irreplaceable thus the most expensive.) The trumpet I bought from KP this year would be the most I've ever spent on a call.

Least Expensive - The mouth calls I make for myself. As far as the least expensive call I've purchased, that would probably be the K&H Moonshiner.

Spitten and drummen

Highest frank cox trumpet
Lowest primos power crystal
" RANGERS LEAD THE WAY"
"QUEEN OF BATTLE FOLLOW ME " ~ INFANTRY
"DEATH FROM ABOVE " ~ AIRBORNE

Browning87

Highest: Clint Corder Osage glass over slate from the same board as his 2014 DD Adams award call

Lowest: primos power crystal I bought in the bargain cave at cabelas for $12. It had no striker with, I put a Lyman dymondwood to it and killed with it two days later

Bowguy

Well I've got a couple Platz calls apparently worth about $800 to some guys. I didn't pay that much so I'll say high end are longboxes, low end scratchers but to be honest scratch boxes may be worth the most if you go pound for pound, specially SS's.
