Gobble!

My buddy shot this bird. This a natural thing? My guess is someones domesticated bird did some breeding/got out of the cage?

Cool looking bird.   Just a natural thing.  I don't believe a domestic bird was involved.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

Spring Creek Calls

That would be a great one to cape. Very cool!

Holy smokes, that's the coolest color phase Eastern I've ever seen... Hunt that farm, find or kill more like it and you'll know for sure it's a genetic thing in the area.

:newmascot: an eastern Merriam cross maybe. Just a thought.

Awesome looking bird! Congratulations. Don't believe there was any farm stock involved, given the black tail fan coloration. Just an anomaly.
