picatinny mount vs speedbead

I'm committed to having Burris Ff llls on both of our turkey shotguns next year. The guns are drilled and tapped from the factory. However, I like the idea of not using the Burris Speedbead instead of a picatinny rail. Any thoughts on the Speedbead mount?

I loved mine when i had a regular stock on my Benelli. However, when i switched to a steady grip stock, and tried to use the speed bead, I ran out of adjustment to get the pattern centered with the dot. Had the same issue with 2 different guns. I attributed it to the angle of the steady grip stock. One gun now has the FF2 on a picatinny rail, and the other has an aimpoint 9000sc on it.
