I was wondering the same thing.  Unfortunately I only got 2 tags for Illinois this year so I'm done here, but will be headed to Nebraska on the 18th to try to get a Merriam and and maybe a Rio also if all works out good.

Do you go through an outfitter or do you go regularly and hunt public land?

First try out there and we are going thru an outfitter, pretty sure we will get on turkeys just getting a good representation of a Merriam might be the problem.  Can't wait to go.  Taking my 11 yr old son and 2 other buddies.

I'm still trying to get to Ohio.  Unfortunately, the weekends became packed far too quick.

My season is officially done. Sad to see it end but definitely had a great season. Looks like we've killed some big birds this year. Hopefully we can get a couple more and we might be doing pretty good

yeah.... Big Perm and Flounder I believe both killed birds but didn't post their scores...

Well hopefully we hear from them soon. Maybe somebody should pm them? I know I didn't do a very good job staying active in here, and I only posted the one bird so I understand life gets busy. I just made sure to post my biggest. Hopefully hey get time to post theirs.

Agreed.  I was hoping to make it to Ohio this year, but it just didn't happen.  Definitely a weird year for turkey hunting.
