Congrats Mike.
Sounds like a good time.
Being south of you, we got the rain. Lots of it.
Thunder, lightning, down pours, etc.
But I was nice and dry in my blind.
Fiber rod striker worked well.
Had several birds going off and on until I had to leave at 11:00.
Saw a brief glimpse of 2 sneaking by me in some thicker stuff, but couldn't get a good look.
Might have been hens, as I heard some of them earlier.
All the other birds, I believe were with hens and only gobbled back. Didn't want to play.
Heard birds off and on all morning. Strange thing was I didn't hear a gobble until 6:15.
Way later than I had thought they would start.
Seemed to stay in the trees a lot longer also.
I hope to be back out Monday morning.
