Reconditioning Primos Wet Box
April 25, 2017, 11:13:17 AM
After many seasons of use the wet box isn't sounding right. Seems to be too slick and skips a bunch. I hate to toss it and was wondering if anyone has some tips for reconditioning the surfaces? Thanks

I would try an alcohol pad first. If that doesn't help then I would lightly rub a scotch brite pad on it.

Light sandpaper will bring it back. The alcohol advice might not be bad first either but the sandpaper alone will prob do it

What grit paper? 120/150/220 is what I have on hand.

Very fine sandpaper and use barely any pressure

Thanks. Sandpaper helped. In the off season I might try Rosin.
