Looking at possibly adding a chicken on a stick to my arsenal. Anyone have any experience with these goofy looking things?

Are you referring to the Funky Chicken? Of the two gobblers that I've taken thus far this spring, the last one was a 21.5# bird with a 10.5" beard and 7/8" spurs that came right in to this decoy at fly down. I've yet to have a gobbler shy away from the Funky Chicken while my Pretty Boy decoy will keep some toms from coming on in. Yes, it's a goofy looking decoy, but I feel it give confidence to any other gobbler that it can lay a whoopin' on it. It certainly is not an intimidating looking figure, that's for sure! Plus, it's easy to carry.

I'm a fan of Funky Chicken. If you follow my posts, I've talked about him quite a few times. I have had one gobbler shy away from him 'cause he had been beat up on by a gang of four jakes.
I think the O.P. is talking about the Primos gobbler on a stake that you use for tolling/reaping. I don't like them because I think gobblers have a weakness for them that puts them at an unfair disadvantage and I think they're potentially dangerous to use. I know there's a lot of controversy regarding them and I'm sure I'll get a lot of flack for my opinion, but there it is...If you're willing to take that chance, knock yourself out. The thought of it gives me a little bit of a sick feeling...

Cooked it that way on the grill the other night. Pretty tasty.

I got a funky chicken jake last year and it works great and it fits in my vest so it's easy to carry. The only thing I didn't care for about it was the stake that came with it so I bought a plastic universal one and ground it down to fit.Now it kind of bobbles back and forth in the wind with the plastic  stake. My youngest boy killed one at 7 yds this year that came in to beat up the funky chicken after passing by the 2 hen decoys.

Ill take a FCD over a DSD or any other decoy any day.   They have two things going for them

1.   They Work

2.   Portability

If I'm not back in five minutes, wait longer!

. FCD  is good but funnel cakes are great too!
Those Fried Corn Dogs are highly portable , your right there!

Primos chicken on a stick is smaller than b mobile making it compact enough to fit in your vest unlike the full size dekes having the mesh bag to lug around.

I know over a 100 toms that won't tell you how good a DSD works :)
