Uh-oh!
« on: April 13, 2017, 12:57:37 PM »
I think someone has already killed the big bird I had roosted on one of my my bow leases. He gobbled pretty regular from the same grove of trees every morning I've been able to get there in time to listen. Last couple trips I've not heard him but still hear the jakes a bit.I'm thinking the trespassing neighbor got him a touch early. On to a new spot I suppose

Almost Heaven man, not Tennessee.  :icon_thumright:

Was talking to my DNR buddy the other day as well and he said he knows that they've been shooting them back home for a couple weeks but hasn't been able to catch them in the act yet.
