Birds have been gobbling both behind the house n more recently on the farm across the road. I have access so no prob.
This morning my gf text me they're back behind the house gobbling so loud she can hear em inside. Love to see what n how many but she said she hears a bunch so maybe jakes. Working for a living stinks!

Looking like I will be missing most of the first week as well. Still I am proud that I am working for a living. I could take it off but I have one of my crews going above and beyond to help me out on a project and it's only fitting that I lend a hand.

Not my first week yet. I just wanna be w the birds!

Ours starts monday. Just walked out and fired up the two toms roosted behind my house. Just hearing them gobble makes my day.  Course when I get home from hunting and see one of them in full strut in my backyard I usually have a few words for them.

Well it's getting close. Ours starts next Monday, youth days the weekend before. Getting close!

id love to be out listening every day too but like many, work is there and if you're not doing it, someone else will. Between work and the side business, I've got all I want to handle and then some. Still, I'll find time to get out. Good news, spring break is the first week of season.
