He rode around with me some sunday, and was telling me about it.
So sorry for your loss Kev.  I lost my father in 13. He was my best huntin partner for all time, and loved gobbling better than me!!
He took his last Gobbler in the same spot you saw that one run across the gravel road the other day.

Thanks for all the prayers!! We laid daddy  to rest today and I can tell you that he's a lot better off than any of us right now!! He and I hunted together up until 1992 when he had a heart attack. He still loved hunting, but didn't have the energy to do it like we used to. He always loved to hear my stories of hunts, whether successful or not. If I killed a nice buck or big gobbler, he always wanted to see them in person or at least a picture, and he'd always question me about all events involved! I know his spirit will be with me in the woods from now on!!
