Florida turkeys are scared of me...

Well, I was blessed on opening day (19 MAR) and killed a gobbler on a dead run at 50+ yrds, but since then I haven't got one within gun range. They gobble like crazy on the roost and for awhile after fly down, but they either head the opposite direction or hang up just beyond gun range. I've tried relocating on a couple and got busted. So, this scenario has repeated its self over and over. FRUSTRATED IN NE FLORIDA.
