I'm looking to add a wing bone to my arsenal. I've never used one, are they hard to master? Who makes some good ones?

crow

I have ran calls from both Mark Sharp and EZ, both are on here,
also Roy Wilson, I don't know if he still makes calls, but they still show up for sale.
their calls draw air very good, have a good break over and a great sound

Jim Young.  Spent some time with him at his shop and the man is a wealth of knowledge.

His site is pretty outdated but I'm pretty certain his current contact info is on there.  Tell him Ray from Tampa says hey if you call him.   He should be on facebook as well.

That's a loaded question. Everyone is different, but with a well made wingbone and some good tutelage, they're not difficult.

I can not personally speak for Mark Sharpe's wing bone calls but from fellas that I know who have them and those that I have heard and seen they are all turkey and have looks to boot.  As for EZ's wing bone calls those I can personally vouch for because I have several and every one is packed full of turkey and like Mark's they also have to look in finish with awesome thread wrapping.  Either of these guys can build you a Wing Bone Call that will get the job done.

I have to agree with EZ on his response as to if they are easy to run or not??  It definitely makes a difference though having a quality call to learn on versus one that is not so good!!!

I'm not a Christian because I'm strong and have it all together. I'm a Christian because I'm weak and admit I need a Saviour!

As mentioned several times already, Mark Sharpe.  I love mine.  And believe it or not I've not lost mine, about wore it out but haven't lost it :icon_thumright:   He also makes a killer cane call, check them out too.  I promise you, you won't be disappointed.
If I'm not back in five minutes, wait longer!

Well I am hoping for a Sharpe wingbone soon and I hope it arrives before our season in two weeks. I have his cane yelper and I love it.

How can one get a hold of Mr. Sharpe?
