So how does the barrel end attach to the gun? I'm trying to figure out how to put a sling on my shotgun now and don't really want a slip over with a rope over the barrel rib.

I leave enough for the loop to fit over the The tube of te pump handle or with a recent idea I use nylon webbing

That's the theory yes. I'd run a piece of nylon around 15-20 inches total length

Pretty nice work, been making call lanyards, whistle lanyards, leads, bino harness, rangefinder loop, slings and belts for better than 15 years, used to be only in OD Green and then they started coming out with all the colors. Don't really do much anymore just for family & friends, market was getting flooded with these and I turned to doing more of my Turkey Display work.

60 inch orange and black turkey tote... double weave down into a single. This was the same color as my first tote I ever made... it carried a 25 pound  Missouri bird the day after I made it so hopefully the same luck will follow this one to the member who requested it.
