Checked out a new spot this morning and covered 3.5 or 4 miles. I heard 4 birds at daylight but they didn't gobble much and were close to gravel roads. After walking some steep (mountain goat) country along the river and finding no sign, I finally found some fresh sign... 1/4 mile from my truck. I flushed about 7 birds once I found that sign. It has a little potential.
