Hey Guys,

2nd attempt at a box call sheath, and I'm sticking with this design going forward!  All my stuff is hand cut and hand stitched, so I want it to work well, considering the effort it takes to construct it!  Making a few for Dino at Spur Ridge Calls that will be stamped with his company name just like this one.  I'm going to do fox fur for the interior lining on Dino's sheaths, but I might change it to sheep's wool for future builds.  Using a Woodhaven Real Hen as a template so you guys can get an idea of what size call this particular design accommodates.  Thanks for checking it out!

Will you build one for a hen box. I have people ask me all of the time about one. If you wont pm me.

Looks good, is there anything that keeps the call from rubbing on the rivets?  Nice job.

x2 , agree don't want a 100-300 dollar box call rubbing the rivets, but it looks really nice..

Thanks for the input, Guys!  I thought about the rivets rubbing myself, but I don't think they would cause any damage since they are smooth, with no rough spots.  These are set with a dome but I'm setting them flat now, which keeps them as flat as possible to the leather.  And I would hope a quality box call would be finished well enough as to not scratch/scrap easily.  But if that were an issue to a customer I can sew the flap vs. using rivets.

FYI - I've got a new design I'll be posting soon!  Stay tuned!
