I think its both for decorative but the hunting class categories are judged by a panel on sound..

Some will go for pretty good deals and others will go for triple or more what the call maker charges, I don't use ebay much the bid style of purchasing is very frustrating to me. I had a bid out on a pot call from the nwtf buckeye challenge. My bid was there for two days and got out bid by $2.00 with 9 seconds left as the auction was ending at 11:28pm. Who has time to baby sit auctions in the middle of the night

I did win one from midwest last year I got lucky and no one was really bidding on it so a threw out a bid amount and it stuck. It was a 3rd place shortbox and I couldn't imagine a better sounding call let alone 2
