Almost finished first few calls got few more ?'s

Got a few calls about done (LOL and quite a FEW that didnt !! ) A couple of the calls is cedar plank from lowes I have one thats either hickory or oak and i need to know if the tru oil will work for the hickory or oak or what about the shellac & spar method mentioned on one of the earlier post work? Also i found some plumbers goop to glue the surfaces from lowes in a purple tube is this what yall use? and finally what is C A that some people refer too is it like super glue ? idk just wondering Thanks a bunch

Never used the tru-oil, but it should work fine and yep, CA is crazy glue. Here ya go:

Thank You Cut N run for clearing up the CA ?. I appreciate it a bunch. Hopefully i will have a pic this week of the call & whatever finish i decide to put on it. Its my first one (that i got to this point lol) so hopefully it'll sound somewhat like a turkey
