CT Spur Collector

I'm so old school, it's pathetic. Old light weight vest, old camo, old boots, old gun, old shells, old calls, blow up decoys, old face net, old T paper...(not soiled) and old brown "jersey" gloves to cover my hands.

Killed four in 2016..........Ha-ha.

I quit wearing gloves 5 years ago.  I don't see where it affects me one bit.

Never left a hunt saying, dang he saw my hands.

I don't do anything to cover them up.

stinkpickle

Less exposed skin for the skeeters to feed on.

The Cohutta Strutter

I prefer not to wear them so it's burnt cork or carbomask unless the temp is down.
Anybody seen America lately?

It seems that I read, or was told, that animals can/will pick up on a "face." Has anybody else heard that?

As far as gloves go, I wear them. I mainly use a mouth call, but hunt with somebody who usually does the calling anyways, so I figure why not? I am planning to do more calling this year, but mostly with a mouth call. I don't see how my gloves (thin and tight) will have much effect on my slate call.

I have always cut the finger tips off of mine.  I run a stitch on each side of the finger to keep them from unraveling further.

X10,  I always thought it was funny that there are 100 different turkey hunting gloves ( all the same) and not one pair of thin fingerless gloves.
