We had some storms knock out power last week, so we had to drag out the generator, ran lines to ours and our neighbor's house. Today she comes across the yard packing this Pecan Pie....still oven warm....for our act of kindness. Man if i knew this was gonna happen I would have ran the generator all month!!! LOL

That's the way the world SHOULD work...all the way around.

BTW, pecan pie is one of the very few weaknesses I have!  I'd hurt myself with it.

I agree everyone used to be that way years back, one helping another....but in today's world it is seldom seen...Oh by the way those saw blades in the background are 14" if you want to guess the size of the pie!!! LOL

My favorite. I don't get them too often, don't eat it all at once!

One of my favorites as well.  I rarely have it here but had a piece at a church potluck when I had to fly back home in January.

While I'm not a pecan pie fan, that was a mighty fine deed you done and glad they felt inclined to repay when not provoked. If it'd get back to that, this country would turn right back around.

Update on the pecan pie...it was delicious to say the least two pieces last night.....Wow!
