Indian Creek material ?

Are the Indian Creek Black Diamond Strike choke tubes made out of stainless steel or steel? And if they are made from both, any differences in the two?

Stainless Steel.

New ones are Stainless but not to many years ago maybe 3 they were Steel.

Just bought another from midway n it was 55 I think. Pretty reasonable. Some are cheaper some noticeably higher

X2. They come on sale every spring. Can't beat it for $55 with the customer service that comes along with Indian Creek.

This. You want the SS version to be safe, they had some trouble with the older version.

Weren't they exchanging out the older versions for a while after they started splitting?

I'm not sure how they did it. I called and said I would like to exchange mine for a new version and they said no problem.

I'm not sure how they did it. I called and said I would like to exchange mine for a new version and they said no problem.

That's good.  I picked up one for a gun that I ended up not buying, but it's the older version.  I might have to exchange it and save it for gun that I won't ever buy.

I've used one in my Browning Gold since they started making chokes and have had nothing but good things to say about them. Good people to deal with.
