I went out and put up a cam today over the entrance to the field where I missed my bird last year. We'll see what we get on it in a few weeks.

I've seen one bird strutting so far, but that was before this big snow storm we just got.  I am getting impatient waiting for spring!

I had to cut grass yesterday. Shorts and a t shirt in February is a little unusual here. It was 76. Makes me want to hunt gobblers even more

Saw 2 different groups of 6+ birds strutting in the fields on Friday.  It was almost 60° in Michigan.  It was 28 yesterday, so I doubt I'll see any for a while now.

Finally was able to find some 3.5" hevi 13 #7's to pattern. Also grabbed a box of 3.5" mag blends as well
