About the Salty Hen:
If your like me, pots never seemed to fit inside my vest or bag without binding up in the pocket. Hand size was another concern, trying to hold a pot in your hand while wearing slick gloves could be challenging. I liked the sound of the 3 1/4 pots, so I developed a pot that was smaller than most 3 1/4 pots. The only way that I could do that was to make the walls thinner. I had to be careful not to lose the sound that I was looking for with the thinner walls. I was able to find the right balance to not only make a smaller more manageable call but one that sounded like a realistic hen turkey. Thank you for considering my calls.
