Question for everyone that says hunting shows are supporting our interests and the 2nd amendment. How much do you really think these tv idiots really care about the average hunter?  How much time and effort and money do you think they contribute to protecting our rights?  Do you really think that deep down most of them care if you or I lose our hunting areas. Heck no. They have the the best of the best to "hunt". As far as the second amendment goes, they aren't helping anymore than the average person who votes.

I've never watched any type of hunting show to speak of, just never had much of an interest to watch hunting. I'd rather read about it and I could watch Kenny Morgan's old clips for hours,lol. Will probably get some of Neil Cost stuff one day. I do watch Dave Owens clips whenever he post one as they are tastefully done.

First i don't think anyone on these hunting show's are idiots. Sorry you feel that way. I feel they do a lot in promoting hunting and sharing hunts with people who may become interested in hunting. I've seen people buy guns and bow's and equipment they have seen on these show's.   If you don't think these Show's don't promote our second amendment by getting people out and enjoying the outdoor then i feel again sorry for you. It takes a lot of money to produce these show's for entertainment. I have a couple of young boy's in my Church that got into hunting watching the outdoor channel. These boy's lost their father at a very young age to cancer. Several of us at church pitch in and got then a gun and other hunting equipment and take them hunting every year.. I've had these kids out at my farm and cabin many times hunting and fishing...So yes show's do support our second amendment, because it got these 2 young men  wanting to continue the sport of hunting.  I don't feel like i'm a average person that voted. I vote for our rights and the person who supports our constitution. If you lost your hunting spot maybe that your fault and not the people on the hunting show's. It's time to stop blaming people for faults and do something about it and support everyone on these show's ...

What turns me off turkey hunting videos/shows is the same old blind/decoy setups. It just gets old... and I don't hate anyone for using them, heck I am not above using a blind or decoy myself if I get a wild hair up my butt. But dang there is way too much of the same crap and the footage is phenomenal, up close gobbler pissed of and getting shot in the face with multiple angles from different cameras.. it's impressive footage, but the hunt itself is boring. I like it when someone is out looking for a bird, finds one gobbling and works him into range or puts a long stalk on him. Something more exciting than just sitting there watching your X Deke half quarter semi strut jake tom over a submissive aroused breeding feeding hen. That's just me though. Nothing against someone using em to hunt, I just don't enjoy watching the videos of it.

Catman, from watching your hunting video's, i think you can tell anyone it takes work and money to produce hunting video's...I really like your video's...

Thanks Greg. It takes work but not as much money as you would think. Most of my stuff is pretty budget. I may eventually get a professional camera but for now, the cameras I use are fine and the main thing is to practice actually filming your own hunts which is very tough with turkeys.

Just for future reference you might want to clarify "turkey Hunting porn" as opposed to "turkey porn."

The former are videos of other people killing turkeys, and the latter is turkeys fornicating...
