Home Made Tube Calls

Granted these tubes are not gonna win any beauty contests BUT... luckily turkeys don't care how they look. They are made to hunt with but they are also a great piece of turkey hunting nostalgia as they are made based on the old Snuff Can calls!

This is the very same type call that I have been hunting with for the past 20 years or so
My use of these calls came by way of necessity. I was paralyzed in fall from a treestand in 1994 and up until that time I had used only my natural voice to call turkeys. The accident affected my voice calling ability plus it left me unable to use my fingers so friction calls were out of the question. Soon after a friend of mine brought me a tube call that he had made out of a Graphite can and the rest is history.
I now make these as a hobby but don't let the looks fool you, they are killers!
For latex I use Thera Band exercise bands and each call comes with 2 different thicknesses.
Prices: 1 call- $20 TYD, 2 calls-$35 TYD, 3 calls- $45 TDY
Cash, Check or Money Order

I have 2 sizes of Doan's Pill cans plus the King Karr Graphite cans. All have different turkey tones.

I have some cut and ready to ship.

The finished product

This bird liked the Doan's/Graphite combo

This one, my best set of spurs to date, ate up that little Doan's can.
