Throughout my whole life, going back to when i was a 6 year old boy, my dad has always carried the same box call every spring. It's a True Tone box call from Penns Woods. It does not say Roger Latham's on the lid and dad added the leather strap to it because it did not come with it when he bought it new. His older brother had one with the factory strap so he used that as a guide and added his own. Anyway, i always loved that call and recently found one on ebay and was able to win the auction. Mine is in perfect 10/10 condition and sounds great, but it doesnt have the strap either. It does, however, have Roger Latham true tone graphic printed on the lid. I'm not trying to get a value of either call, I'm simply trying to date these calls the best i can. Did the leather strap calls come after the calls with no leather strap or vice versa? And did the Roger Latham true tone printed lid come before the unprinted lid or after. Thank you for the help in advance.
