Trumpet care? Restoring finish

The wood on a couple of my trumpets is dingy and has spots/blemishes from being handled a lot.
Need some recommendations on what to use and how to clean and get my calls back to their original finish.
Just want to be careful and not do any damage.  Thanks.

Very good question. The answer probably varies due to the wood having a CA finish or other finish.  I have a couple with dull areas on them as well.  Even a nice oily patina gets lost once moisture sets in.

X2.

A can lasts a lifetime for most folks. Great product. Many uses - guns, knives, and other items.
