Favorite wood combos ?

   I was wondering everyone's favorite wood combos for 1, box calls and 2, paddle calls. None of us have heard all the combos out there. What better source for information than here.                                            My favorite for paddle call is bloodwood over mahogany, for box call purpleheart over cedar.

I have a mini paddle call that I hunt all the time that is Purple Heart over Black walnut that really gets them to sound off...it's one of my favorites i hunt...

I have several but my favorites are walnut over butternut short box and eastern red cedar over chestnut long box. Ceder box call is good also...

Snakewood over holly
Limba over butternut
