Hey all. Im new to this site and just wanted to say i hope to learn a lot while I'm here. Im from central Illinois and hunt public ground. Have to admit that deer hunting is my favorite but not by much. Even though im still self teaching to close the deal on longbeards. Ive killed 1 turkey in my life and it was the 1 time my father and cousin took me. Ive hunted every year for the past 5 yrs unsuccessfully. Hoping to change that soon.
I mainly shoot archery tackle but do use my trust moss 835 ulti- mag for turkey until i figure out what im doing.
Ultimate goal is to take one with my bow, without using a blind. I know i know... but im planning to get there eventually.
Ill be observing to learn as much as i can.
