I love holly even had a crush on a girl in 5th grade named holly,,but I think it is the most beautiful wood and very expensive.
Love to see your pics of holly calls you own, I'm getting the Albert Paul Henry Davis soon but would like to see others,,
such a thing has a all holly box top and bottom?? Love to see some holly boxes made by SS who always do a great job.
Or any other makers you might have proud examples of.

Double Holly's!!! Dbl hollys usually are attached to a tunnel ram bolted to a Chevy big block but those are a lot prettier

Wow. Great looking calls.  Good thread.  Unfortunately I have nothing to share.  Except that I also had a crush on a Holly but it was my sophomore year.  She married a guy with one of those air brushed tuxedo t-shirts.  She turned out to be quite a homely lookin gal.  That's why they say things were better in the old days.  Nice calls and thanks for sharing.  Bill Lyman and the Shoemakers have some beauties.  This thread should keep changing different woods to get us through this boring deer season.

There's some nice pieces on ebay right now. Better grab it while you can as it won't last long.
