Hello Old Gobbler Forum and fellow hunters. I'm from Virginia, the Williamsburg area to be exact. Now near retirement age, I've always wanted to go Turkey hunting. Although I am an new to turkey hunting, I'm not at all unfamiliar with the Remington 870 that I have now. While in the Navy as a Photographer's Mate, one of my collateral duties was a member on the self defense force for the ship and I used a Remington 870 for a number of years. So now what I need is a bits of advice, guidance and gentle pushes is in the right direction. I look forward to Y'alls wisdom, experience and a bit of wit along the way. Just promise me that you'll go easy on the old boy here, I may be a novice, but i'm not without a little common sense.
