Rhino choke question:
July 03, 2016, 02:03:43 PM
Bought a used Rhino choke off of a member here and when I went to use it, the install into my well used 870 was tight, but manageable. When I tried it in my 11-87, it was a no go. I've emailed Rhino with no response. Any remedies for this tube?

My guess would be maybe it expanded at some point. I had a cheap one do that and the only remedy was replacing it.

Could be the threads. If you have a tube cutter like what you cut copper tube with, run it the entire length of the threads a few times. I've had to do that on a couple chokes. i

Have no idea what you paid for the choke, but i wouldn't take a chance of messing up my gun barrel with a bad choke, get you a new one or send that one back to the company for repair..
