Great end to NH's season! (Updated with pics)

NH's spring gobbler season was a tough one, to say the least!
First week of the season was cold and rainy. I had some opportunities, but couldn't seal the deal.
So, last weekend, my son Harrison and I made a deal that if 2 legal birds showed up, we would try to fill our tags.....
Success!
We hunted a small field, and I would gobble and do hen yelps every 30 min or so, and throw in some light purrs and clucks.
I look down towards the bottom of the field, and 3 big jakes came up from the bottom. They made their way to us, and safeties off! We shot at the same time and doubled up!
The next Sunday with some great advice from my good friend, Guesswho, I was able to call a beautiful tom in for a very good friend of mine!

No hunt I have ever been on, has topped our double, and I had a blast calling in that nice tom for a very good fried! Doubling up with your child is an experience I will never forget!

I look at him and wonder where the time has gone!
Seems like just yesterday he was tagging along on his first turkey hunt!
Now, he's getting ready to get his learners permit to drive!
