Got a 870 bone collector.

It is a supermag and comes drilled and tapped. The barrell is 24 and 15/16th  long measuring from the receiver. I am thinking about ordering a 665 jellyhead for it. I shot it today in all this wind with the hevi mag blends and a remington super full and got 170, 200 and 208 at a taped 40 yards while sighting in the new tru glo sights. This gun kicks harder than anything I have ever shot.

Are you shooting 3.5 inch shells out of it? If so, good luck. My SM kicks like mule with 3.5's in it. Either way, that is a super nice gun. You are going to love it.

I have a 870 with a sureshot stock and a 21" barrel.  Man is that thing loud and with those 3.5" nitros it almost breaks my sholder

Good looking gun. If you want a tighter pattern a .660 jellyhead is the way to go. But either way it looks like your good to go

That is the exact gun I purchased last year.  Like Gobble said...get the JH .660 and you will be pushing 275+ in a 10 at 40 with Hevi 3.5 #7's. 

I personally wouldn't bother with the .665.

Get the JH660 and H13 7's polish the barrel and don't look back.

Of course it kicks.  It's a Remington.  My 870 with a 3" 2 ounce 5/6/7 mag blend absolutely punishes you!!  Feels like Mike Tyson just ran up and gave you the old haymaker!!  I shoot the same load in my 835 and it is almost pleasant to shoot in comparison.  Nice lookin rig btw!

I had a 835 for a long time and thought it kicked until I shot this thing. I have been shooting a 870 youth 20 ga but I needed a little more horsepower.

Get a remington Supercell pad for it, I think that is what its called.  I had one on my 870 shurshot slug gun it worked wonders.

I love my 870 SM. That is one purchase I don't ever regret buying. One bad ase little gun.
