He liked my new Lights Out call

Wendell made me a beautiful aluminum over glass pot last month that is simply amazing! 

I have never had so much fun making turkey music: sweet purrs, cuts,  raspy yelps etc. 

I took it up to Alabama last week and convinced a couple of birds to come in for a look and they decided to ride home in my truck.   This was the first bird that the call brought in, but there will be many more to follow in the years to come I'm sure.
