Just curious.  The things are back bored AND have chrome lined bore and chambers.  I'm thinking of the compact 20.  Anyone have experience with the new winchester pump?

Maybe this will help some. The SXP has the same features of the "speed pump" in that once you pull the trigger and the gun fires, the forearm starts an automatic rearward movement. That can be a desirable feature for an upland or waterfowl gun but can be a bit "disconcerting" for a turkey gun, since we want everything to stay as solid as possible. You can counter this by putting forward pressure on the forearm.

Early models of the SXP had some POA/POI issues but those may have been corrected on the later models.

There was a lot of excitement about these guns when they were first announced and introduced but I've not heard much about them since that time. I have handled them but have not taken one to the range for any work.

They do have a lot of what should be very desirable features that should make them durable and they are drilled and tapped for optics mounts. As I recall, they are made in Turkey and those guns are normally well made and sturdy.

I'm sorry I can't be of more help.

Thanks,
Clark
