I top seeded one of my food plots last week and it didn't take long for the turkeys to find the seed.  Check out this caramel wing colored bird on the right.  Wondering how common this is in wild birds?  Quite a contrast between him and the more "normal" colored bird on the left.  Must be a genetic color variation?  Thought it was cool enough to share.

Awesome bird; it appears he doesn't have spurs, as well.

That is cool. Clearly a gobbler by looking at his head, but no Spurs.

tomstopper

Agree with both of the above posts. Cool looking bird

lmbhngr

Long shot but maybe he has a domestic gene in the bloodline somewhere

TauntoHawk

he would be a neat one to cape and mount showing off those wings, no spurs would make me sad though  :funnyturkey:

Cool looking bird!  Spurs or not, that'd be a unique trophy.
Pass it on...

Thanks for the responses.  I figured somebody would chime in and say they've seen something like this before.  Must be more unique than I first thought...

JK Spurs

I like my turkey well peppered

Cleveland48

Very unique bird. Odd about the Spurs though.
