Been reading the forum for 3-4 years and finally decided to join up. Lots of great info here and thought I'd join in even though there's not much I can add. I have managed to kill a bird or two whenever I run into an old crippled, half blind, tone deaf bird. Got my first one back in 1981 and I've been after them ever since with some degree of success. I am a self taught turkey hunter by trial and (mostly) error. I will say this, if this forum would have been available back then it sure would have flattened the learning curve.
I'm also a upland game, deer, & occasional bird hunter.
