Reeds wrinkling - help needed

I have a Feather Ridge press and am having issues with reeds loosening and wrinkling/getting wavey after I use a call. I'm not holding calls in my mouth for long periods, so they're not getting soaked. Any suggestions appreciated.

I'm guessing bad latex. A lot of guys have had this issue.
I didn't have wrinkles, but after a couple hrs the latex would relax or loose its stretch.

Another possibility, besides the recent latex problem we're hearing about, is that you are not crimping the frame tightly enough. Not sure if there are other potential culprits, but those are the most obvious.
