  My first trip for Merrians, good start, beautiful country, nice folks and a few birds. Most of the grown
Birds were henned up, lots of jakes to keep you company. Finally found a couple of grown birds without hens.

Did you find plenty of timber to hunt, after that big fire a few years ago?

  There were areas that had been burned badly but also areas that were not touched. Not hard to find some good hunting land.
