I'm not much of a story teller but I've been hunting these 2 birds for over a week and finally killed one at 7pm this evening. I had my jake and hen decoy out and had been sitting there since 4pm, and about 6pm I was bored so I'm made me a big loop in the woods and come back to my set up and this bird had beat up my jake and was breading my hen. I crawled into position about 40 yards and killed him doing what he loved doing most. Lol

Good bird though 19.2lbs, 11in beard, both Spurs 1in.

I reckon if I had to go that wouldn't be a bad way to go out

Yep as long as it was the real thing...  :funnyturkey: Congrats on the bird.

That's an awesome story and I'm sure it is your most memorable one.

Great story and hunt....seems like every time I leave my deke setup a Tom comes in and beats it up...I am trying to quit leaving them and sit still!
