remington chokes

im looking for suggestions on turkey choke tubes for a remington 870. shoots 3in.

I had my best patterns at 30 yards with the remington super full choke and winchester extended range #6 shot.  Hope this helps.

i have remminton turkey loads from last year. they are #5 copper plated but i think im going to go with hevi 13 this year maybe number 7. i will pattern a few kinds. ever since last year i have had turkey fever

Don't get too carried away with getting your pattern "super tight" unless you hunt a lot of open terrain. Where I hunt, my shots are usually 30 yds or less and the super tight pattern thing cost me last year. You know how they say, "A bought lesson is a taught lesson"? Well, I bought a FEW last year alone. Get a good, even pattern and don't get carried away with the #'s. I have a feeling my JH .665 and Kicks .655 will be staying at home this year unless I try shooting lead again.

I know theres not much talk about them, But I used to us an Undertaker choke. For only about $20.00 it's worth a shot.

Who could forget about the famous Remington Ventilator?  I'm shooting one with some old white Hevi 13 #6.

Depends on what kind of pattern you want out of your gun.

Hevi 13 #6 or #7s with a really tight pattern:

JellyHead .660, Indian Creek .665

Hevi 13 #6 or #7s with a little more open pattern:

JellyHead .665, Pure Gold .670

Hevi 13 Mag Blends or #5 Hevi (if you choose to go there):

JellyHead .665, Pure Gold .670

Nitros: Any of the above chokes will work well with the H51013A or H510C
as for the H517T I would stay away from it with an 870, simply because it won't be worth the extra money and punishing recoil, for at most, the same amount or a few extra pellets at 40 yds.

All these are just from my experiences.
