Had a friend give me a chunk of mystery wood that had been laying around his workshop for years. Exterior was in pretty rough shape. Inside was enough good wood for two calls, one for him and one for me. I believe it's bloodwood but wouldn't bet on it. The wood darkened considerably when finish was applied. Stuck in some maple sides and a bloodwood lid and it sounds great. Gonna be this year's hunting call.
