I would be interested in trying to duplicate Winchesters SHOT-LOK resin idea in to reloads, have any of you tried to do this or have you any ideas what would work. ?

I'd think it would take a LOT of experimentation to find the right combination of material and loading techniques to get the resin to break up at the right time.  Either it'll bust up early and not improve the pattern at all....OR it won't break up and you basically end up with a slug.  And then there's the issue of how it affects chamber pressures.  I wouldn't want to be the FIRST guy to try it.  ;)

I understand what you are saying, the chemistry would have to be perfect i guess. Kind of disappointed now i was hoping some one had tried this already .  ;D

Winchester hasn't even got it perfected, I've seen a few times that I would shoot LB's into a cardboard box with newsprint inside and there would be clumps of shot and resin still balled up.

Wonder what would happen if they were packed in a non-drying thick gel...

The old boys mixed bone meal and a spot of linseed oil as buffer, claimed it worked.
