Freedom Group(Remington) bought out H&R and raised the prices of the single shots like 75%. Now they have stopped production and destroyed all the machinery associated with H&R.They killed the H&R single shot. But they still import 870 clones @ 2/3 the price of an 870.I just can't wrap my mind around that "business decision". Just another " sign of the times" i guess.But the good news is there are plenty of new H&Rs still in the " pipeline". And there's just so many used ones of them out there that they can still be found pretty easily for a bargain.
