No Face Mask for me.

How many of you are face painters. Last season I switch to using face paint in KS, since I forgot my mask at my relatives house that I was staying at for the week. I love paint because my glasses don't fog like they do with a mask, and I can setup quickly and not worrying about  getting my mask on. The down side is getting the crap off, until I found this company CarboMask. This stuff is awesome doesn't even feel like your wearing it and  comes off easily with water and light rubbing. Okay, I'm going to have to give this stuff a try.  I used to use the greasy stuff for duck hunts and never liked it.  I've been happy with my Ol  Tom Boonie Hat / Mask for turkey hunting, but I'll be wearing prescription shooting glasses for the first time this year and hope this will avoid fogging problems.  My lab has got it figured out.

Check out Hoo-Rag's Mossy Oak headgear. I wear one with a ball cap.

Have tried the paint and it wasn't very user friendly. I wear glasses and a 3/4 net. Put the makeup on my brow,ears and bridge of my nose.Lately I have just been using burn't cork as Hankyorke suggests. It works pretty good and is a flat black.No shine. I will try the Carbomask though.

I 2nd the burning the end of a real cork from a wine bottle (not the plastic ones)
Char it up a little and draw on, its easy to clean off with a little water

I agree with others on burning the end of a wine bottle cork. I wear glasses and have issues with a face mask. Goes on flat black and super easy to take off with a wet cloth.

I've tried CarboMask and it's definitely better than any other face paint out there, but I still hate wearing it.  I wear a 3/4 face mask for turkey hunting, and have had the same problem with glasses fogging up in colder mornings.  Even when deer hunting my glasses would always fog up walking to my stand even without a face mask on.  I recently had LASIK surgery and it has been the best decision I've ever made, no more glasses for me.  When my doctor asked me the reason I wanted LASIK surgery, I told him straight up, "I'm tired of my glasses fogging up when I'm hunting." He laughed and said, "good enough." I swear if I didn't hunt I would have never gotten that surgery lol...

Makeup remover works like a charm, I always have a package of it in my truck for getting face paint off, it's cheap and available at grocery stores and pharmacies.

I wear glasses and use a mask without any fogging problems. When I first started turkey hunting I used camo face paint but didn't like the mess so I went to a mask. Like has been said before you'll kill a lot of turkeys without a mask or gloves if you don't move when they're coming to the call. But then again I feel exposed if I don't wear my camo mask and gloves!

Tip for you glasses guys. Fill a bowl with water add a couple of Johnsons baby shampoo swirl it around and dip your glasses into the bowl then lightly wipe off. No more fog and it works better than any product.
