Picked up a few calls recently

Picked up a few calls the past few weeks. Ordered a David Halloran crystal mistress few weeks before NWTF convention and picked up his laminate slate and a extra striker on Saturday at the convention. Loving both of them!

His pots definately call turkeys. I have a mistress and a sister. Talked to him via email today and ordered a wedge laminated slate from him. Hearing alot of raves about it.

David is by far my favorite call maker I have almost all his pots I think the crystal mistress is the finest pot call I have ever played I have a walnut slate he was selling at perry show last year that I use more than my Platz and my wenge walnut should be here any day he set one back before Nashville because I couldn't make it to perry this year and he said the wenge sounds like a glass call more than the walnut one I have so we will see do yourself a favor and by the double glass too it will run right with the mistress

that new laminate does sound like a really good glass call,or tone it down and it sounds like a really good slate,i agree,i love that double glass call,i actually like it better than the mistress and sister.it was my favorite call from david until I got that new slate this weekend,i just may have a new favorite one now!
